Proper Shirt Fit Essentials

Neck and Collar
The collar should close comfortably without feeling tight. When buttoned, you should be able to fit one finger between the collar and your child’s neck. A collar that is too tight can restrict movement and feel uncomfortable, while a loose collar can look untidy in formal settings.

Shoulder Seams
Shoulder seams should sit right at the edge of the shoulders, not drooping down the arm. This placement ensures the shirt hangs correctly and creates a clean, tailored appearance rather than an oversized look.

Sleeve Length
