To clean the inside of winter boots, start by removing the liners if the pair allows it, then wash them gently and let them air dry fully before reinserting. For boots with fixed liners, wipe the interior with a damp cloth and a little mild soap to lift dirt and cut odour. Always air dry away from direct heat, which can warp the shell. Keeping the interior dry between wears stops smells and dampness from building up over the season.
